Every Treasure Begins with a Story
Lost Treasure Designs began with a simple idea and a few handmade Christmas gifts.
Several years ago, I decided to make junk journals for my children. I wanted each one to feel special, filled with beautiful papers, little surprises, and artwork that brought the stories I imagined to life.
But there was one problem.
I couldn't find the designs I was looking for.
So I began creating my own.
What started as a personal project soon became something much bigger. I discovered how much I loved designing the papers, pockets, folios, and little details that make a handmade journal feel like a treasure waiting to be discovered.
And I began wondering if other makers might enjoy creating with them, too.
That's how Lost Treasure Designs was born.
More Than Paper
I've always believed that a handmade journal is more than a collection of pretty pages.
It's a place for memories. A home for photographs, handwritten notes, favorite little keepsakes, and stories that might otherwise be forgotten.
It's something made slowly, thoughtfully, and with love.
Every collection I design begins with a story. Sometimes it's inspired by a beloved book, a forgotten place, a changing season, or a little bit of magic. Other times, it's simply an idea that refuses to leave my imagination alone.
From there, I begin building a world through paper.
My hope is that when those designs reach your worktable, you'll take that world and make it entirely your own.
Because the most beautiful part of any collection isn't what I design. It's what you create with it.
Welcome to the Studio
Over time, Lost Treasure Designs has grown into more than a collection of printable kits.
It's become a creative home.
A place where I can share not only my designs, but also the techniques, ideas, discoveries, and occasional mistakes I've picked up along the way.
Here in the Studio, you'll find beautiful paper collections, helpful tutorials, creative inspiration, and little treasures to take home.
Whether you've been making journals for years or you're just discovering the wonderful world of papercrafting, there's a place for you here.
You don't need expensive tools, a perfect workspace, or years of experience.
Just a little curiosity, a willingness to try, and perhaps a few pieces of paper.
The rest will come.

One of my favorite things about creating is imagining where these collections will eventually go.
