Our Little Squeeze

This collection started with a card my wife needed for a baby shower. The mother-to-be’s last name was Lemmon. Well… I couldn’t let that little detail go by. 🍋 I took the name and ran with it. What began as an idea for one card grew into a collection filled with lemons, soft greens, cheerful gingham, and little animals that look quite comfortable holding fruit nearly as big as they are. There are teddy bears waiting for cuddles, tiny clothes hanging beneath lemon branches, and pockets ready for a few words someone will be glad you saved. That first card gave me a place to begin, and the theme gave me plenty of reasons to keep going. I love that a collection with room for so many memories began with such a small, personal detail. A name. An occasion. Something my wife needed me to make. Now I hope these pages find their way into other families’ beginnings. Perhaps you’ll fill them with baby shower wishes, letters written while you wait, or little notes from the first days at home. However you use them, I hope they help you keep a little of the happiness of welcoming someone new. —Mikey
